A rare Cuban mahogany Gillow’s patent dining table circa 1800
Description
The frame with eight attached reeded legs extends from the centre leaf which swivels to a right angle. the leaves are laid in numerical order along the frame and secured.

Length fully extended: 136ins (346cm)
Richard and Robert Gillow of Oxford Street registered the patent in 1800 and the first table was ordered by Lord Strathmore in 1801.
