Early Regency period rosewood Breakfront Cabinet or Chiffonier circa 1815.

 

Description

The top section of shelves with turned supports and brass gallery above a cedar wood lined cabinet of four doors which retain original brass grilles between scroll mounts with beaded edges throughout, raised on gadrooned bun feet.

Attributed to GILLOWS of LANCASTER and LONDON 1730 -1840
