An exceptional Queen Anne period concertina action burr walnut card table circa 1710
Description
The shaped quarter veneered moulded edge folding top opens to reveal a gros and petit point embroidered panel lining depicting the legend of the Greek gods Bacchus and Ariadne; candle stands and guinea wells above a shaped frieze on cabriole legs with shell carved knees terminating in pad feet.
