A fine late George III period 3-part Cuban mahogany dining table circa 1800.
Description
The D-end top is supported by gate-leg ends with turned legs ending in brass lion feet and a drop-leaf Pembroke centre, which could be used as a side table.
Provenance: from a Keswick family collection.
It is believed the table was originally made in Whitehaven for a wealthy Maryport shipping family.
